Gaming. It can run latest games in very low-medium settings.

  • NFS Most Wanted 2012. Lagging.
  • Sniper Elite v2 (2012). Medium Settings.
  • Test Drive Unlimited 2 (2012). Medium Settings.
  • Anno 1404 (2009). Lower resolution with medium setting.
  • The Last Remnant (2009). Medium settings.
  • Will update game list once I run more games.

HP Probook 4445s is a good basic laptop suitable for basic activities such as browsing, watching videos on youtube, editing photos in Photoshop (can handle loading large files simultaneously), office works, light to moderate gaming and so on. It has brushed aluminum finish on top cover and palm rest for serious business look sharing a similar appearance with its expensive counterpart HP Folio Ultrabook.  HP has security software for this series available for download on their website,  It also has finger print reader and supports kensington lock for security.

Update (04/27/14) = After more than a year, the optical drive can no longer read discs. I clean up some dusts but it still won’t read dics. Kinda dead now.
